Analyzer is the creation of Bradley Chesnut who has worked with insurance agencies on automation and marketing
since 1989. The
past 8 years (until July 31, 2005) Brad was InStar’s #1 Regional
Manager. From May 2005 until Aug 2006 Brad partnered with Bonnie Peterson with LearnInStar.com. If anybody knows automation, marketing, InStar and
InStar’s short comings it’s Brad!
Knowing
InStar doesn’t automate 100% of an agency (no
management system will), we added additional tools to fill in some
of the gaps.

Word Integrator is easy and very powerful. Use it for Form Letters,
Mass Marketing Direct Mail letters, Envelopes and Labels or any
other word doc that you'd merge their client and/or policy
information into. And, you
can print them for just one person or everyone in the query you
created, all 100% personalized to the recipient. You can even use
the MS Word integration to create custom forms … just one of a
hundred different things you can do. Powerful!

Find
inconsistencies with your policies and book of business
That’s right, inconsistencies. Ten new policies this month, none
the next 2, for example. It’s hard for an agency owner to stay on
top of what his producers are doing, or whether they are only
renewing business or also writing new business. Learn which months
are your big selling/renewing months, and why!
Stay on top of
renewals
With the push of a button a Renewal Calendar will pop up showing all
policies renewing for the month. Hit the + sign to move to the next
month, or – to see last month. Or jump up to next year. You can
drill down to the policy to see the detail information. Filter them
so you only see policies with a specific line of business (Auto,
Home, CGL, WC, etc.).
You can also create a formalized renewal program with either the MS
Word Integrator or E-Mail Manager which will GREATLY increase your
renewal rate.
Find policies that
weren’t updated correctly in InStar and are throwing off your InStar
reports
This happens all the time with InStar users. They forget to “dead”
the policy which means the policy will show up in reports throwing
off your figures. We’ll show you how to find the policies that need
to be updated in InStar.
Then, when a click of button you can tag those policies and print
the “Update InStar” report so you can easily update the policies in
InStar.
Create very
strategic and specific reports … Reports way beyond anything you can
create in InStar!
Your only limitation to reports in the Policy Analyzer is the data
you entered into InStar and the fields available. You have total
control!
To see a detail outline of the differences between the reports you
can create in InStar and the Policy Analyzer, go to

the website we compare all of InStar‘s policy reports to the Policy
Analyzer. The differences are HUGE with the Policy Analyzer
guaranteed to give you far more accurate reports. You’ll never run
another report out of InStar after using the Policy Analyzer.
To print the report you can choose to print the list based upon your
search criteria with totals at the end and sorted in the order you
chose, or a report that sub-totals by 10 different fields (your
choose) like the effective date month, or company, or producer, or
CSR to name a few. If you need a
different layout for your reports or need them to be sub-totaled by
a different field, just drop me an e-mail and we'll add that report
layout to the program.
You can run virtually any report you want including the same
policy reports in InStar. With the Policy Analyzer, however, you’ll
be able to fine tune your normal InStar reports so you get exactly
what you want.
Don't want to print pages and pages of detail? Just want the
numbers?
We can do that too! It's called a Summary Report ... get the
numbers and totals without all of the detail.

Depending on your phone system, you can auto-dial your prospects or
customers. Emailing is 1 click away.
Need directions to your next appointment? We added a map tied to
their address … just click the “Yahoo Map” icon. We also added
driving directions from your office to their location.
From the Policy Analyzer window or customer policy window, click a
button for full carrier information including personnel. Click
another button for the producer contact information.
